Today is the first day of the new year, and I am excited about the newness!
2022 was a year of adjustment, change, and feeling stretched...all of which impacted how I was able to show up for business. I did not sell as much as I did in 2021, but I was still able to award scholarships to aspiring PA students. Some of those aspiring students were even accepted into PA programs! While I could not provide much direct mentorship to people in 2022, several mentees contacted me to inform me they were accepted into PA school!
I learned that life and business have their ebbs and flow. There will be good moments, bad ones, and ups and downs, but the bounce back matters most. This year will be an excellent year for all of us! Stay tuned for updates, changes, and new ideas! The mission will be the same, to help increase diversity in the PA profession. A portion of all sales goes towards helping cover initial CASPA fees for aspiring PA students from underrepresented backgrounds. Since the creation of Jackie the PA in 2020, eight scholarships have been awarded, and over 35 people have received direct mentorship. In 2023, the plan is for an increase!
